The Evolution of Tabitha - My Personal Growth

Personally, I feel as if I've grown a lot throughout these first few chapters of The Anniversary Gift. The first image is my first ever render of Tabitha and boy is she hideous!

Later on I found out how to make her look the way I’d like her to (The second image), but I was still using preset expressions to get the point across... They did the job but the characters still really didn't feel like my own. In this next chapter, I've finally cut out any presets and decided to make my own facial expressions and poses.

I feel that these original expressions really help me capture the character I want to portray, far better than any presets ever could. Tabitha to me is a very fun-yet-emotionally-driven woman, and by far is one of my favorite ever characters to write lines for. I feel like there's a bit of me in her and I really want to bring that out, the playful sarcasm, the humor, that hidden layer of darkness that nobody would ever suspect.

As for the quality; comparing the first from the current really makes me feel like I've come a long way in such a short time. I know there's plenty more room for growth (enormous room tbh), but it feels nice to just sit back and really admire how terrible my first few runs of the programs were... and these were the ones I finally decided to keep! These latest ones aren't so bad in comparison.

Anyway, there's that tangent! Back to work for me, I'm hoping to get this chapter out in a timely fashion. Thanks for letting me share my brain for a moment.
